FORBES: OKONJO-IWEALA STILL REMAINS MOST POWERFUL WOMAN

Forbes magazine has just released the list of 100 most powerful women comprising of activists, celebrities, billionaires, and CEOs.These are women whose activities have benefited a lot of people in the previous year.

Our finance Minister and most powerful woman in West Africa, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was in the list as the 83rd in the world moving down 2 spots from 81st the previous year.

Angela Merkel, German Chancellor, remains number 1 with Dilma Roussef, President of Brazil, closely following at number 2. Melinda Gates of Bill Gates, Mitchelle Obama, and Hillary clinton trail at 3rd, 4th, and 5th respectively.

As for the female celebrities, Beyonce Knowles Carter tops the list followed by Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie respectively.
